  * Slug Sucker *
    I know many of you will think that this is really disgusting but I got too many people asking about it. I found this slug beside the creek at the Multnomah Falls. I put my finger in front of it and it quickly ducked back and withdrew into itself. It slowly reached back out to check out my finger and drew back again and again. It did this several times until it just reached out and stuck itself to the end of my finger and began sucking on it. It felt really weird and they have some pretty tough skin in their mouths because it made a strange scraping motion as it sucked. I know, that was really weird, but it did happen, I got a picture of it and I had to share it.     I've seen many of these slugs in the woods up here when I was younger and have seen them reach lengths of over 6". Sometimes if you stop and pay attention to plants and animals you can see and find out some amazing things. You should see the video I have of a colony of red ants abducting and using black ants as slaves.
