This time of year always brings out there cherries at the grocery stores. Being my favorite fruit and basically my favorite food, I quite often fill myself up with cherries. And it is at this time when I do miss living in the Pacific Northwest, where cherries seem to grow all over the place. When I was younger I could often be found up in a tree somewhere eating cherries. 
Now the Rainier cherry has always been one of my favorites and is not always easy to get since they don't last as long and they don't ship very well. But if you ever get a chance, you have to buy some of these when they're in season. 

I was actually planning to take a picture of a whole bowl of these, but I really like cherries and they didn't last long enough and I just had this one left.
