Venus Rising

Here I used my Canon EOS and just simply took 30 pictures of the rising planet, Venus, one morning before sunrise. Spaced several seconds apart you really get the motion of the clouds in this very short video. But this experiment did provide me with the results that I needed to start working on more elaborate video clips of time lapse photography in a digital medium.
Although, in this clip, I manually took each shot, I will eventually have the ability to automate this process and leave the camera set up for longer periods of time and hopefully get some really interesting stuff.

On a more detailed note, as we can clearly see the clouds moving, look closely at Venus (the small star in the middle) and you can actually see it slowly rising in the sky.
