This magnificent creature was found creeping around the side of my house. They are very similar to the bull snakes in the area, but at least the king snake is a bit more docile and easier to handle. Although I did have to keep it's head restrained since it most likely would have tried to bite me anyway. I took numerous photos before releasing it again.

Hey, and in this shot you can also see that nice little scar on my arm.
